What is FUE Hair Transplant?

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a modern hair transplant method in which hair follicles are extracted and transplanted one by one. In this method, hair roots taken from the donor area (usually the nape) are individually transplanted to areas experiencing hair loss.

Stages of the FUE Procedure

3. Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is applied.
4. Graft extraction: Hair roots are extracted one by one using a micromotor.
5. Channel opening: Channels are opened in the area to be transplanted.
6. Implantation: Extracted grafts are placed into the opened channels.

Recovery Process

The first 10 days after FUE hair transplant are critical. During this process:

• You should sleep on your back for the first 3 days
• Heavy activities should be avoided for 1 week
• The first wash is done at the clinic on the 3rd day
• Scabs fall off within 10-15 days
• New hair starts to grow from the 3rd month
• The final result is seen in the 12th month
